# Overview

FeedOtter Email is FeedOtter's built-in email sending service. It allows you to send curated newsletters directly from FeedOtter without connecting a third-party ESP

### What FeedOtter Email Includes

Once your account is provisioned, FeedOtter Email gives you:

* A dedicated sending infrastructure scoped to your account
* Full control over your sending domain and sender identity
* A built-in contact and list management system (Audience)
* Detailed send-level reporting including open rates, click rates, bounces, and unsubscribes
* Suppression group management to support compliant, opt-out-based sending

### Prerequisites

FeedOtter Email must be enabled on your account before you can use it. This is done by the FeedOtter team during onboarding.

If FeedOtter Email is not yet enabled on your account, you will see a prompt to contact sales when visiting the Audience or Sends areas.

### Where FeedOtter Email Appears in the UI

Once enabled, FeedOtter Email is accessible from the left sidebar under the **Feedotter Email** section:

* **Feedotter Email → Sends** — view and manage all emails you have sent or scheduled
* **Feedotter Email → Audience** — manage your contact lists, subscribers, unsubscribe groups, and signup forms

### Scope: Newsletters Only

FeedOtter Email is currently available for sending **curated newsletters** only.

When creating or configuring an RSS Automation, FeedOtter Email will not appear as a sending option. Automations use third-party ESPs only (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Pardot, etc.).
