Keep all your content sources saved in FeedOtter for easy access when creating newsletters.

Adding a Content Source

Any content sources you might use frequently for your Curated Newsletters should be saved in settings so you have easy access to pull content into your newsletters.

1. Go to Settings > Content Sources.

1. Select New Content Source. Here, you'll select the Platform, Name, and Group for the source.

2. Fill in the remaining fields based on your content source type and click Save.

Grouping Content Sources

To efficiently manage a large number of content sources, consider organizing them into groups. This allows for better categorization and makes it easier to locate and add the appropriate sources when building your curated newsletters.

To create a group, select Manage Groups on the Content Sources page within settings.

From this view, you can create new groups, edit or delete existing ones, and reorder them as needed. To change the order of groups, simply drag and drop them using this icon:

When adding a new group, be sure to click the green check mark to save the group, then click Save All Changes.

Adding a Content Source to a Group

To add a content source to a group or multiple groups, click edit next to the content source:

From the popup, you can select one or more groups to assign the content source to. Simply select all groups where you’d like the source to appear:

You can reorder content sources within a group by dragging them. However, dragging a content source from one group to another is not supported. You cannot use drag-and-drop to move or add sources between groups.

Deleting Groups and Content Sources

Deleting an entire group will not delete the content sources within it—they will automatically move to the “Ungrouped” section.

If you remove a content source from a specific group using the “X” next to it, the source will remain in any other groups it has been added to.

Accessing Groups Within Curated

When you are within a curated issue, click Add Content. You will then be able to select from your groups:

Each newsletter automatically remembers the last content group you accessed and saves that selection, so you won’t need to reselect it each time.
