Curated newsletters put you in the editorial seat: instead of fully automating a feed into an email, you connect your content sources, then select what to feature, arrange it in the order that makes sense, and tweak the details before it goes out — while FeedOtter handles the design, formatting, and delivery to your ESP.
At a high level, every curated newsletter has two connected layers:
Your content — pulled in from RSS, WordPress, YouTube, Google Sheets, and other sources (or bookmarked directly from the web). FeedOtter automatically makes this content email-ready: resizing images to the right format and aspect ratio so things look consistent no matter where the content originated.
Your template — the design and structure your content is delivered in, configured once as a default and reused across every send. Our team prepares your own custom HTML for use with Feedotter. Don't have a template? Read more here.
Editing happens on rails: you're placing and tweaking content within a predefined structure, not building rows and columns from scratch. That's intentional. Most teams want their editors focused on curation, not on relearning an email builder every time they publish.
