The Newsletters Dashboard

Every newsletter you create has its own dashboard — this is your home base for that newsletter, separate from any individual send.

Creating a Newsletter

From the main Newsletters homepage, click New. This creates the newsletter and takes you straight to its dashboard, where you'll set things up before creating your first issue.

On the Dashboard

Each newsletter's dashboard gives you three main actions:

  • + New Issue — creates a new issue (a single send) for this newsletter

  • ⚙ Newsletter Default Settings — the newsletter configuration that applies to every issue in this newsletter, unless overridden on a per-issue basis

  • Create Note — attach an internal note to this newsletter

Notes ca be used as in-company documentation for the newsletter itself — the kind of context a new team member or a colleague covering for you would need: what this newsletter is for, who it's for, any quirks in how it's built, decisions about cadence or content sources, etc.

Audience & Performance Snapshot

The dashboard shows an audience summary (total subscribers, net subscriber growth, integration) for the newsletter as a whole.

Note: The performance snapshot (delivery rate, open rate, click rate, unsubscribe rate. etc.) is currently only available for newsletters integrated with Eloqua, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Pardot. If you're on a different integration, you won't see these metrics here.

Issues List

In the dashboard view, you'll see every Issue created for this newsletter, with its status (Draft / Published) and when it was last edited.

Each issue row has quick actions:

  • Eye icon — preview the issue

  • Clone icon — duplicate the issue

  • ⋮ Options menu — additional actions:

    • Mark as Published — manually flag an issue as published (useful if it was sent outside FeedOtter's publish flow)

    • Clone — same as the clone icon

    • ESP Link — jumps directly to that issue's email inside your connected ESP

    • Rename

    • Delete
