# Marketo Emoji Support

If you are receiving an error when publishing your newsletter to Marketo.  You may receive notification that it is caused by the presence of emojis in your email.

Marketo supports only a very outdated standard for emojis (unicode 5.2) so most emojis that a you add will not be supported in Marketo.

To publish to Marketo, please revise your content and remove emojis, then try to publish again.
