# Profile

The **Profile** page allows you to manage your personal account information, update your password, and configure two-factor authentication (2FA).

### Personal Information

Keep your profile information up to date so we can notify you about important account updates.

On this page, you can update:

* First Name
* Last Name
* Login Email Address

After making changes, click **Save Personal Profile** to update your account.

### Change Your Password

To update your password:

1. Navigate to **Settings > Profile**.
2. In the **Change Password** section, click **Update Password**.

3. Enter your current password and your new password.
4. Save your changes.

#### Forgot Your Password?

If you can't sign in because you've forgotten your password:

1. Go to the Feedotter login page.
2. Click **Forgot Password?**
3. Enter the email address associated with your account.
4. Follow the instructions sent to your inbox to reset your password.

### Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of security for your Feedotter account. When enabled, you'll be required to enter a verification code each time you sign in.

Feedotter supports two authentication methods:

* **Authenticator Mobile App** (recommended)
* **Email**

#### Enable Two-Factor Authentication

1. Navigate to **Settings > Profile**.
2. Locate the **Two-Factor Authentication** section.
3. Select your preferred verification method.

#### Using an Authenticator App

We recommend using an authenticator application such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or a similar app.

1. Select **Authenticator Mobile App**.
2. Scan the QR code or enter the provided setup key into your authenticator app.
3. Enter the verification code generated by the app.
4. Complete the setup process.

#### Using Email Authentication

1. Select **Email**.
2. Check your inbox for the code.
3. Enter the code to complete setup.

Once enabled, Feedotter will prompt you for a verification code whenever you sign in.
