# Salesforce IP Whitelisting

Some Salesforce accounts may have an IP address whitelist for connected apps and/or users. If you receive an error when trying to send emails from FeedOtter after completing the steps above, please contact your Salesforce admin and ask them to whitelist our IP address: **104.236.230.137**

### **Connected App Management**

If you are a Salesforce admin you may wish to troubleshoot/inspect the FeedOtter connected app from time to time (not necessary). To view our connected app:

1. In Salesforce navigate to **Setup** > **Connected Apps** > **Manage Connected Apps**
2. Our app will be labeled **FeedOtter Prod Env**
3. The working entry should look similar to the screenshot below

### **Troubleshooting**

**Business Id -** If you are on a legacy version of Pardot, you may need to request your Business Id from a Pardot/Account Engagement support representative.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.feedotter.com/integrations/pardot-account-engagement/faq/salesforce-ip-whitelisting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
